The Central Astoria LDC is a valuable
housing resource for both tenants and landlords in Astoria,
Long Island City, Hunters Point and portions of Sunnyside.*
Free Assistance in the form of answers to questions, solutions
to problems and mediation in tenant-landlord disputes, protect
the rights of tenants and reinforces the responsibilities
of landlords. Information regarding available programs such
as SCRIE assistance and HEAP is also provided. Over
the years the Central Astoria LDC's assistance has resulted
in the maintenance and improvement to Astoria's affordable
rental housing stock.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
In person, 28-27 Steinway Street, 2nd floor - Monday through
Friday, 9am - 5 pm. Appointments are advised (718 204-1056).
